This project saw the total internal refurbishment of a fifth floor apartment within a large Georgian mansion block near Earls Court Station, transforming this historic property into a timeless home.
Finding the flat in a sorry-state following years of decline with previous owners, we stripped the apartment back to its structural shell in order to fully reimagine the space. With the homeowner’s distinct taste for a mixture of art, antiques and furniture, our design sought to protect the clean sight lines and generous proportions of the apartment. While re-organising the smaller spaces to create four bedrooms for the clients and their family. We divided the rooms into elements of social gathering and separate private bedrooms, separated by the long corridor created by the large footprint of the mansion block. A large master suite was located to one end of the apartment, with rooms re-formatted to flow between master bedroom, walk-in wardrobes and ensuite bathroom.
