Project Details
This project reimagines an existing Victorian school building as a new private school and nursery, set within generous garden grounds. The design carefully restores the historic fabric of the building whilst introducing a playful and engaging interior language tailored to young children. A considered palette balances respect for the building’s heritage with moments of colour, texture, and curiosity.
Arranged across two floors, the ground level is primarily dedicated to the nursery, centred around a generous “great hall” that provides a shared space for dining and play. The first floor accommodates a series of smaller classrooms, forming the main school environment. The result is a warm, characterful setting that supports learning, creativity, and community.
